FINALLY THE DOLPHINS ARE HERE

I'm thinking I need to change my current coloring method to something that'll take less time... this page had an abnormal amount of hours put into it. next time I'll try doing all the markings on another layer set to color, or something like that. fingers crossed that I get faster at this, haha;;

that being said, I'm still pretty happy with how this page came out! the story is finally going to get up and going, and next up is the SUPERPOD, oh man

PAGE 4 --> (PAGE 5) --> PAGE 6

it's tradition that dolphin comics start with creation stories :nod: KEEP UP THE SWEET WORK.

TRULY. also I am just a sucker for this trope in general, so clearly I could not pass up the chance to use it when making up the culture of an entirely different species :,D

I WILL TRY MY BEST, AND TY;;;

It's also lovely to see common dolphins! Most other cetacean webcomics are focused on orcas.

orcas do seem to be the most popular choice for cetacean lovers! I chose commons mostly because of how colorful and complex their markings are (figured it might be easier to make them distinguishable ahaha)

of course, orcas will definitely be featured in the story at some point ;) I could never leave them out!
